Well, it's about a month old. It's called a tow-vac - www.tow-vac.com and my company is replacing our sweeper trucks with them, at least in our Raleigh branch. The trucks we we're using are Nitehawks and run around $50,000. The tow-vacs are around $15,000 and of course you need a small truck to tow it with.
The cleaning ability and low maintenance of the tow-vac blows the nitehawk out of the water, especially with the way gas prices are now. I included a pic of the nitehawk sweeper, the tow-vac, the Ranger we use to pull it and what happens when somebody that wasn't supposed to be driving, tries to back back and jackknifes it, sending the broom housing into the back rear of the truck, twice.
They are getting 5 new Rangers, so we won't have to drive this now beat up truck around. ;)
