View Full Version : Picked me up a new toy :)

I picked me up a new toy/project today. It is a 90 mustang LX 5.0. 5speed, 67000 miles on clock, flowmasters, x-pipe, 4.10 gears, mac headers, not sure what kind of cold air kit on it.

The interior is trashed and paint is faded but has lots of potental, espically for $ 500 !!!!!!!!!

Man, it looks alot better in the pics I took...LOL

It needs paint and lots of interior work but, runs awsome. I did alot today on it, set the timing, tuned it up, fixed the non working(like missing..all of it) A/C, new brakes, got the correct taillights for it......Lots of work still to come.

That's great, That's just what we were looking for, Hey I need the 5-speed out of it for our project car. :D :D :D :D I think you part it out, we already got a great 5.0... ;) Looks like a great runner.

I cant wait to take it for a spin...Sorry Nick and Rick I tried to get hold of you tonight Rick by phone and emailed you I think the spidles should be O.K tomorrow but call me first... I'm just worried about George he came out of Hospital in worse shape than when he went in The Indians are trying to kill us....Conspiracy :eek: We have had a lot of rain and power outages rare for Ocala...It must be they are building to many homes and new construction. Ocala is Booming. or Imploding with people coming to get rich on property here$$$ John Travolta, Nicholas Cage and a few others are now living here... We never had Power outages for more than minutes It fried one screen on the putter in the Play room or Coy's room Diane calls it. Been real hectic.
Yo Nick you did not call me after you picked up the Stang? Maybe you did an Maybe the power was out. LooooKing good! Got some nice things for 5.0L go with the MSD Ignition You can also put the 8" fans in front of the Radiator and keep it real cool....... ;)

The int is light grey, it might not have an interior in it when I'm done. I ordered 17 inch SVT 03 Cobra wheels for it today and an seriously considering a Vortech S-Trim blower for it. We'll see..... :D

Hi That sounds great Nick....We all have our dreams :cool: :cool: :cool: I think this one is a good one!!! Call me when you get a minute or two... That New Blower is on the Market... Magnum Powers is ready to put something out within 1 month or Less...I ordered a few. It will hit the numbers. ;)

Kind of a shame to strip out with the somewhat low mileage. But if you do and you get a different trans, I need a stock T-5 to rebuild. :D

Yea, but the interior is wasted and seats are torn. The car sat outside in a field for 2 years. We'll see what were gonna do with the interior but a Vortech is almost a given :)

Car still looks good especially now that you got the right tail lights :rolleyes: and sounds great but you are right...you could grow taters in that carpet.. :D

I need a 10% Jack shaft pulley to do some dyno tuning on a new part coming out soon. guaranteed to put 400 to 425 RWHP on your SC with the right stuff. Nick can you find one for me and a friend. You know who i'm talking about.
