Oil pressure question

When I start my car the oil pressure is good, the needle is right in the middle of normal. But after I drive it for a bit the needle drops just to the left of N, I don't know if this is something I should be worried about, the oil level is good and needle does not drop anymore.
And I also removed my air silencer, but after driving in rain the air filter got wet, I don't know if I should put the air silencer back in.
Thanks for all the help, Max

I would try and clean the oil pressure sender connection behind the water pump bracket. Those connections are crappy and sometime cause the gauge to give funky readings. On another note, those arent really true gauges. Its pretty much an idiot gauge. The way they read is; no pressure, normal, and high pressure. So just as long as your in the "norm", your good ;). You can do a oil pressure test with a real pressure gauge to be sure.
