Just thought you might like to see Ed on his Day off...............Steve and I went to Mosport today to check out the GTAMC on their track day. Met some new people, inhaled some cool racing fuel, got to see the first new Saleen Mustang in Canada...01C is its number, and $68'000 is its price, but damn its pretty. Steve did a bunch of laps with Ed, and the seats stayed clean the whole time. All in all a good day. I have included a few pics. Check out Steve and his new ride!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a GTAMC day, and Steve and I just went as visitors. Ed was pretty busy. Steve got to take some laps with him, as I have already had the crap scared out of me in a 911 Turbo...............................
I am going to the SVTOA Days in August. I think that will be a blast. Gotta get new brakes though.
I forgot to bring the good camera so action shots were very hard to co-ordinate. Sorry.
We spent a lot of time just watching and since Steve had never been there, just taking it all in. Had a great day.

Matt, it was actually an event put on by the GHMA, Golden Horeshoe Mustang Association. Their membership has mostly early Mustangs, but many of them now also have 94 - 05 cars as well. A few GTAMC members were there to assist as volunteers too, you may have recognized some of them from the GTAMC bbq a few weeks ago.
It was a fun day, great to see Paul Bromell, Matt Leskiw, and Steve Day come up to check out the action. Lots of neat vehicles out there, mostly Mustangs new and old of course. Paul and Steve got rides in my car, Matt declined. :D Usually I'm afraid that the students are going to get me scared, but this time it was myself providing the excitement. The last session of the day, right near the end of the 20 minutes, I managed to overcook Corner 2, and run out of pavement to drive on at the exit of the turn. So rather than fight to keep the car on the track, I opted for a bit of high-speed farming at about 140 km/h across the grass on the outside of 2. :p Steve took it rather calmly from his side, I guess he figured I had a handle on the situation.
cheers

Ed
Thanks for clearing that up. I wasnt going to mention the "farming" incident. I didnt want to break the ANDRETTI mystique.
It was a great day all around. Thank the members of the GHMA for me.
And BTW, my declining was before he went 4 wheeling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks again. Looking forward to maybe riding with you at Shannonville. You can blow up the BlackBird.
