This is for a 91' bird I sold... Well alright I purchased a premium sound install kit and I followed the instructions as so, well, now I still don't get any sound even after the bypass cable is installed. Please help someone! I really hope I don't have to rewire the whole car!

Ryan,
Need more info.
What was the factory system? Premium or JBL? CD?
What factory components did you replace?
What factory harnesses, if any, did you "bypass"?
Stock speakers and harnesses?
Did you add an amp?

Just the ford premium tape
Just pioneer speakers... and just a new deck..wired correctly
Took the black plug that came with the "Premium Sound" kit and plugged it in like I was instructed and it doesn't work... No new amp...

Ryan,
It might be helpful if you posted about how you solved the problem, that way this thread will serve as information that someone might stumble upon while searching for a solution to their own stereo problems down the road.
Cheers,
Sean

Yeah, just like that time I thought I blew my engine because it was overheating because I forgot to hook up the fan wires. And that time that Les had a clunking wheel because someone forgot to remove the lock-nut socket before installing the center cap. And that time.... c'mon, fess up! :p

well the first problem is that I wasn't doing the install, I was trying to guide someone over the phone and they thought the powersteering box in the trunk was the amp and crammed the bypass cable into that! Of course theres no sound!
