1989 Ford Thunderbird Super Coupe

Extras: moon roof, power seats & windows

Car is stock except for the following:
-Front brakes (spindles, hubs, end links, rotors, pads, etc.) replaced with 1997 T-bird sport brakes with retained ABS (bought used, installed 2003)
-Centerforce I clutch (installed 2002)
-removed air silencer, installed K&N panel air filter
-new tensioner pulleys
-new OEM headlight lamps and fog lamps (installed 2004)
- Tokico Premium Performance Gas Struts & Shocks (rear installed 2004); front struts (not installed, but will include with sale)
-replaced ABS accumulator with one from Prior Remanufacturing
-Pioneer aftermarket CD player
-replaced original 6.5" subwoofer with new Kicker 6.5", used original sub box
-replaced motor mounts with solid rubber ones
-new OEM rear brake pads and rotors (July 2005)

Condition Summary:
I'm the 3rd owner. The car runs and rides great and is very reliable. I have put 100,000 miles on since 2000, mostly highway. It has new BF Goodrich Touring T/A tires installed this spring. I installed a new battery less than a month ago. A/C has been retrofitted and is very cold. It has had no known engine problems. I have receipts for most repairs done to vehicle since birth (even from previous 2 owners). I've been using only Mobile 1 synthetic oil since 2001 and 93 octane fuel since 2000. I'm getting married and there is no more space for the SC.

Possible cons about my car:
-3 small scratches/nicks on the driver's door
-minor rock chips in front
-2 cracks in the dash
-3 cracks in passenger side of windshield
-sun visors' cloth is disintegrating from wear
-engine is original, which makes it old

Among the notable photos...
-small paint chips in front end
-2 dash cracks
-3 windshield cracks
-driver's side damage from when a wheel came off another car on the interstate and hit the tbird behind the wheel in front of the door, bounced off and hit the driver's door. The piece between the door and the wheel was pushed in (I pulled this back out pretty well) so when I opened the door to get out, the hinge pinched and bent a little. The door still functions perfectly.

This car is still for sale. No engine work has been done. The engine and transmission are original. This car is my daily driver and runs great. All pics are on the posting above.

Yes the car is still available, runs great, original HGs as far as I know. The car is no longer a daily driver. It sits in the garage and I drive it once a week.

You are just down the road from me then. I live off Simpkins near Lake wheeler. Too bad you are selling your car. They can be expensive to keep and maintain, but they're so much fun to drive.

In the 5 years and 100K miles I have had the car, I've driven it to Ohio several times, as well as Michigan, Florida, and Georgia. I wouldn't hesitate to take off today and drive to Ohio. I trust it.

The car has not been smoked in.
