Anyone out there know how to get the rear spindles off, im in the process of replacing the bushings and the bearings in the rear end of my 90SC i have the 3 bolts undone but i dont have anything that will fit over the axle nut.... any suggestions?

You'll need a 36mm socket to remove the hub nut. It it torqued to 250 ft lbs, so a crescent wrench will not do! You also should get new hub nuts and make sure they are torqued back to 250 ft lbs on reinstallation.

We have two FAQs on our main page that may be helpful to you:

http://www.sccoa.com/articles/halfshaft.php

http://www.sccoa.com/articles/rearwheelbearing.php

If you have never replaced bearings in the rear, pay particular attention to the second FAQ.

i found the faq after i posted that... i wish i would have known before hand i would have grabbed the 36mm from work... now i cant get to that one until tuesday (aarrgghh) hopefully my neighbor will have one
