Hi,

I've decided to sell both of my cars, to get something a lot newer. I hate to part ways with something I've worked really hard on, but its getting costly for me to insure and to fill.

Thinking of getting a '01 Toyota Solara.

Samir,

I'm sorry to hear that you've decided to sell the XR7. I agree that it's one of the nicest XR7's that I've seen. This would make a great vehicle for someone interested in driving a classy car with power to boot!

Good luck with the sale.

Cheers,

Sean

Thanks Sean, I will miss it if it does sell....I just want one good car that I can drive all year round..besides having 6 cars on the drive way is a bit too much as I am running out of room to park it. :)

Thanks for the kind comments.

I can’t believe this car is not sold yet, I would buy it if I had the funds but unfortunately I don’t. Try selling it on TCCoA, there will definitely be someone on there who will buy it.

--- SOLD --- for $3100 CDN

Thanks to all of those that inquired about the car.

I sold the car this week - just waiting to pick it up from the shop as I got it certified, etc. I let her go for a very fair price of $3100 certified, and e-tested + plus many extra parts and SC rims. I sold it to a friend, hence the fairly low price.

I told him about the club, as he is familar with these cars so you may see a new driver coming out to some of the local meets...I still plan on attending the Mustang and SC shows, this time in trusty and very reliable '96 Accord !

Thanks to all of the Ontario Chapter members with helping me obtain parts for this car etc...Wanye, Ed, and many others...as Wayne's blue parts car was the donar car for body kit, in addition to the deep dish ROH rims.

I will still be around the forums to throw in my 2cents, as I try to help where I can...

Thanks Again...

Cheers..

Congrats on the sale, Samir!

It's not going to be the same seeing the car but not you. Hopefully you'll still be a big part of the forum here, plus our club events.

I'm sure you've found a good home for the car. ...And that the new owner will be welcomed here.

Best regards,

Sean

Thanks Sean,

I already miss it, as the new owner drove off on in it a few hours ago.

For one last request I had the new owner drove off in it, while I was beside him in my Accord as I wanted to hear the exhaust note of the 302....damn, nothing beats that sound !!!

Anyways, just had to share that with the other members ;-)

Take Care,
Samir

Just saw Samir's car on O'Conner. I was leaving Steve's place when I saw black XR7. I waived as usuall...wait a minute, that's Samir's car, so I turned around, chased down the guy and invite him to our meets.
Seems that he is taking care of the car, Samir, but too bad you let it go man. I would be crying if I were you:o

Thanks Payton...i usually see it twice a month or so, as I sold it to a good freind of mine...its in good hands, so I don't worry about it...do I miss it? in some ways, as I spent over a year restoring..my own little overhaul project....one of my many projects ;-)

Wait until you see my 2003 Accord V6 Sedan done up ! ;-)
