seems that my throw-out bearing seized on the slave cylinder, the gasket on the inside was sort of hanging out, after beating off the remainder of the bearing (looked as if it exploded) the gasket slid back into the groove, should I buy a whole new slave? are they rebuildable?? any input is appreciated.

I would just replace it. They are not terrible expensive and easy to change.....once the trans is out............but a b!t@h to replace after you have it all back together and find out its bad.

s'what I figured, sad thing is its only a year and a half old. at least it wasn't the clutch like I thought originally.
