Good to see another SC in Orlando, Depending on what's leaking on the Power Steering. The swivel connector on the pressure hose that connects to the pump on my 89 was leaking and the pump was making noise so I replaced them both. It’s a bit of a job depending on how your setup to work on your car, The Power Steering bracket has to come off, which means, the fan (just for some room) the IC and upper tube, coil pack can be unbolted and laid out of the way, Alternator can stay on the large bracket and just get unplugged and removed with the bracket. The hose was $35 and the pump was $60 both from autozone. Have to make sure you reseal your IC tubes when you reinstall. If you have never do it before it might take you 2 hours or so. Need a power steering pully remover and installer, you can rent those from autozone.

You need to find out where's it's leaking from, I would gunk it down and then add some fuild and see were the leak is from. It also might be the rack.

Post some pic's here or in the Fla section.

As for the Cats, I would replace with downtubes maybe from Tbird88 or something simlar.

I’m way on the Westside of Orlando, off of Good Homes road and 408. You really need to find out from where it’s leaking, if your in an apartment take it to a self- service car wash and gunk it down good and let it dry and see if you can see where the leak is from. You have the steering rack, pressure hose, return hose, pump and variable assist valve on the side of the pump. You should do it very soon if your driving it all the time.

i know its my everyday car now soo i have to "get her done"
it looks like i have to remove alot of things...and the leak is from the hose because when u put the oil in it it just goes out the other side ...i need to fix it but i dont have the slightest idea of what to do....!
and i dont want to take it to someplace
i live in a house all i need is the step by step on how to replace it and it would be a project for me
