cold start problems???

Latley my car has been having really hard starts when i let it cool off. IF i let it sit overnight it would be really hard to start in the morning. When it did start it would let out a big puff of black/blue smoke and smell like gasoline so I asume that the reason it didn't start is because there is no spark. Also when i would crank it and let the key back there would be poping sounds from the engine... This morning i went to start it and it won't start at all. Any ideas as to where i should start looking???

things i have replaced recently:
Cam/Crank sensors
spark plugs

Check your fuel pressure
It may be the fuel pump went bad there is a check valve on the fuel rail like a tire valve stem push it there should be pressure there

If not that it could be the ignition module

Thanks for the suggestion Jim! I checked that out but i'm not sure what it is supposed to do... When I checked the pressure it squirted up the first time, but it wouldn't do it again when i depressed the button. It just kind of oozed out then...
Let me know if this is right.

Its ok its working if it did that
All I can think it would be is the ignition module its mounted on top of the AC bracket

kurt mite have an extra one you can try

One more thing it could be is the ignition switch my Ranger did the same thing it would start and die pop and bang with the same black smoke smelling like gas

Its like shutting your engine off and on it would be hard to start at times back fireing all the time

Yea i've been meaning to give you a call anyways. I'll probably be getting my exhaust pretty soon. I'll have to bring my SC over there when i get it.
The car has been starting since i had the problem. Still has the hard starts when i let it sit for a while though.
