ABS Light on after brake job?

chances are...

Check the wiring to all 4 speed sensors... i bet you unplugged one or broke/smashed a wire.... if not check your wheel bearings, and if that fails, you have to get a scanner to get into the BCM and read the code. The code will tell you which sensor to replace.

Okay. I only did a brake job to the front, I checked the front ABS sensors/connectors/wires, and all checked out well.

I figured I'd try and disconnect the battery. Then I plugged it back in, and started it up. This temporarly solved the problem. Before I did this, the ABS light came on as soon as you started the car...

.. Now it comes on a few second after you let out the clutch, once its in gear? (But it never comes on just idleing in neutral)

To get the code scanned, can I just take it to autozone or advanced auto?
