I had a tech run a scan because of my car bucking. He came up with CID sensor failure, code 19. I am trying to buy the replacement. However two different part stores call it something different and have different part #'s. One calls it a cam sensor and the part is el363 by GPSorrensen, the other is f-134 by wells. Is anyone sure of what i need. I need to order before 1pm today to have it by sat for replacement. Thank you. Tom
Love my 89sc 5sp

Part numbers answer

I don't have a Wells part number, but you'll need a GP Sorenson cam sensor part number EL 146 for your '89 SC.
I hope this helps.

CID (cylinder identification) Sensor should be the Cam Sensor. It is used to help with spark timing.

Parts America.com shows a Niehoff number of:

FF440E for $45.99

CarParts.com shows
Borg Warner - CSS29 for $31.44
Standard - LX-228 for $37.55

I think Ford calls it a stator. Their part # is E9SZ-12A112-A or DU-47 for Motorcraft.

More part numbers

As noted, there are many manufacturers basically ALL selling the SAME part.

There is also: Echlin (TP 56), KEM (E 326), Transpo (FM 537) and we already have numerous other manufacturers mentioned.

I hope this helps you find your part quickly.
