Duffy....An ABS question?....

Hi, Duffy. Hope all is well.
I got an email from an SC owner in Finland. He is having an ABS problem. His description is "The ABS light stays on allways. We just replaced the accumalator so it should be ok. And the relay seems to be ok too. The abs pump goes on after you hit the pedal 2 times. I dont know what it
might be. Brakes work but dont have ABS working. "
This is what I have told him so far, "1. Do a code check on the ABS test connector. It is located under the hood
right next to where the EEC test connector is. See what code you get and
then check the codes from this link,
http://www.35ththunderbirdregistry.org/Tips/ABS.htm .
2. Clean the contacts and the rings on the ABS wheel sensors. Also unplug
the connectors, spray some WD-40 lubricant cleaner into the connectors and
reconnect. I had a right front wheel sensor that kept my ABS light on all
the time for a while. My ABS worked but it eventually burned out the bulb on
the light and I never have changed it yet.
3. Your hydraulic pump may be bad. Perform the test as outlined under the
heading, "Hard pedal Amber Anti Lock and Red Brake Light always on." from
the link, http://www.35ththunderbirdregistry.org/Tips/ABS.htm ."

If you can help or if you think I have told him anything incorrectly, your input would be appreciated.
Thanks and all my best.
