Tranny Oil Leak

Car has developed a leak where the output shaft meets the driveshaft. I just put in a new trans, but had the car sitting for the weekend with the new trans and it wasn't leaking. Now that I started driving it it has began to leak. I put the lucas trans fix oil in when i started driving it and when it started to leak. Any ideas why it's leaking and what i can do, when it drips onto the resonator and starts to burn off it absouletly stinks.
Thanks for the input,
Phil

rear tranny seal shuold be easy to fix just remove driveshaft and pull it out , i would make sure its not over full first and drive it a couple days

Update

I went to put the tailshaft seal that I have out of my 89 m5r2 and it doesn't fit snuggly on the trans I just installed. Did the make different tailshaft seals for different year trans? I believe it was out of an 89 as well and I would have figured it would be a similiar seal. Any thoughts?
