my friends 92 sc has the jbl system with the subwoofer
his subwoofer blew and we had to unplug it now theres 0 bass what so ever
is there a way to get bass out of the stock speakers?

No, you can't get bass out of the stock speakers.. The way JBL designed the system, was to have every speaker do its job. That is why they added a subwoofer... He can get a speaker replacement from JL Audio, or Rockford Fostage, I think even Kicker offers one, but not sure.... I think they run about 95 give or take.....
Good Luck

Yes, he could replace the headunit, and speakers. I dunno if its just the sub thats not working, but its going to come down to how much he wants to spend. If he replaces the radio, he will need to bypass the JBL amp in the trunk, so he will need two sets of plugs. One set will adapt to the connectors in back of the radio ($15 - $20) and the other plug to bypass the amplifier on the rack in the trunk ($15 - $20). Then he will need to replace the speakers, (6 x 8) dunno what brand he wants, but look at around $150 to replace all 4 speakers, all that plus the price for the headunit that he wants....
Hope that helps...
:)
