i am looking to junk the cheesy focus tube i rigged up and cant decide what size to get, i am probably going to upgrade to 76MM C&L someitme. I am buying the whole magnum powers kit

The 3" will work well with a 76mm MAF and a 75mm TB, but if your going with an 85mm TB you will want the 3.5" intake tube and an 87mm or larger MAF.
