96 LX to 90 SC

Ok so i have this 1996 LX 3.8 and im going to swap over to a 90 SC with a 5spd.
My main question is what exactly has to be done to my 90 wireing harness before i can install it into my 96? I would love to talk to someone who has done the swap.

that would be like doing a NA to SC swap.. but your doing it in reverse... may i ask why? just the block? or the whole enchilada?
