Holy T-birds Batman! $50 for a poster :eek:

A while back I went to a shop that does auto glass work and saw one almost exactly like that one only it was a 40th anny poster hanging in the shop. Tried to see if the guy would sell it, but the owner was out. I had looked on the net shortly thereafter to see if I could find one but didn't have any luck. Those are nice posters and I'd love to have one too, but the 40th anny one.


Wonder if there is a 50th anny poster anywhere since that is THIS year.

Well the one that you originally posted about was on ebay. Not sure if it is still there or not. I kinda thought about hitting the "buy it now" botton but I neglected to do so at $50.

I tried to get a shot of all, but couldnt fit it on the camera. From left to right 1985 30th anniversary poster, 1989 "Take the Road By storm" mag. ad in frame, 1990 35th Anniversary poster, "Time flies when you're having fun" 35th anniversary ad, 1995 40th Anniversary poster, then a small award i found on ebay for the 40th anniversary tbird "Tenth annual fabulous fords forever", a picture of my 94 at carlisle :D , a mag ad with a pic of the 3.8L engine saying "Quality is job #1" ...right :p , then a dealer lithograph of the motortrend thunderbirds up to 1989 which include the '58 bird, 87 turbo coupe and the 89 super coupe, then the last one is the actual page riped out of the auto trader mag with the ad for my 89 of when i first bougth it :) , and on top of that is a 35th anniversary neon clock.

All of these i bought on ebay, you just have to keep a good look out...i got the 35th anniv. poster for like 12 bux :D . I have a few other rare postes but i kind of ran out of wall...but i dont have the the one that JD posted...i remember seeing it but i must have missed the auction. I also have a whole bunch of Turbo Coupe stuff that I need to find a place for.

Oh and from that 35th anniversary registry page, im missing the patch, the order form and the banner...everything else I have....oh, and im missing an actual 35th SC!

I was trying to get a good resolution copy of that poster from lance. I never recieved it, guess he was really busy.
I was going ot ship him a free poster for the file.

Hi, guys.
I have been very busy to say the least. I just caught this thread and sorry for not seeing it sooner. My wife and I worked on a really large resolution picture of the 35th poster. It is huge, 17 mb. Someone emailed me about doing it up a while ago. Richard, sorry I missed you on this. Here is the link to the jpeg. I highly recommend a fast connection to download it. I hope it is good enough to help some of you out. It's the best we could do.

I have the 35th, 40th & 50th anniversary posters, plus the Dealership Ford GT poster, a Thunderstorm Nascar poster from 1992 and a Budweiser #11 poster. I also have all of the SC ads being framed and I have 6 other Thunderbird posters that are in the process of being framed, including 3 MT COTY posters from the factories-and NO, I will not sell them! I already sold my 35th collection(bag, car cover, keys, pen and extra poster)

Birdman, im interested to see the motor trend COTY posters. At least for the 89 super coupe i've only seen a dealer lithograph which is the one I have in my wall, but im eager to see if im 'missing' any. Maybe a pic :D ?
