Thanks to Jim Signore for his help. He did a great job and knew just what to do when Murphy struck. Thanks again Jim. So, how do they look? Colorwise they are a slightly different shade of gold than the rocker panels. I'll have to look for some more spray gold paint now to make them match. The stripes have a hint of green in the color while the rockers have a hint of yellow.
They are Accentstripe 1A from http://www.Decalkits.com and were free as part of the sponsorship thru http://www.carsponsors.com. I've got a few more things to add down the road.

It's about the only thing on the car that was useable, Neal. The motor was totally trashed. We rebuilt it from the pieces plus parts that I had. I still can't get it going because there is an electrical problem I can't find. I've got 12volts at the battery and the solenoid. Otherwise, there isn't 12volts anywhere else in the car. The 3 fuse links check good but both fuse boxes are dead. Any ideas? Anything that you disconnected that I haven't found? PM me about this, I could use some help to locate the problem and you're the only one who knows what was done to the car before I got it.

that sucks on the motor end of it. it was a classic head gasket is how it went, white smoke, skipping, etc. i did run the car pretty hard though, ive had 6-7 AOD's in that car, and thats ultimately why i quit the supercoupe game
as for the electrical problem, im stumped, i had i huge system in the car a couple times , and never had any electrical trouble out of the car. i put an alternator on it once years ago. maybe the connection at the bulkhead is loose/corroded. it has been sitting for a LONG time now. you got a lot more than the wheels though, id love to have some of that black interior for my new project. good black guts are hard to find and the dash WAS good in that car too
you also got a late model blower/plenum/new upper arms etc.
come to think of it i need all that stuff!!!!!!!!! :p http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/8/web/2132000-2132999/2132415_1_full.jpg

this is the new project. its been a while since i had an MN12, as i sold the 95 v8 AND the 96 v8 shortly after you got the SC. since then and now i had a black 89 GT stang 306 gears tremec etc, got this after i sold the 71 440 fury coupe, a ranger, a couple trucks, this intrepid, then i bought the GTP, ive been through a few, and i must say, i had to come back to a MN12. the mustang was quick, and fun, but didnt handle as well as the IRS tbird. the fury was a monster, and therefore was hard to drive on the street. i just like the tbird its a good all around car.
i bought this one for $450 bucks. it also had an electrical problem, after the previous owner sold it to me out of frustration, i found that the idiot light was out, causing a no charge condition, installed a new light, bam she charges!!
ive been driving the wee out of it ever since.
