SC Head Torque Using ARP Studs.....Question?

I read the Ford manual last night and the MAX torque is 59 Lbs-ft. I printed out Steve Webb's September 2000 Chargin Thunder article about head gaskets and the DOs and DONTs. Great article by the way. He said if you use ARP studs to torque in three steps to 75 Lbs-ft. That is a slight difference in the 2 values. I have not received my ARP studs yet and I ~~~-u-me that the proper torque load will be in the directions. So my question may be OBE. However, I would like to get other opinions from ARP users.

I have used the ARP's in 2 of my SC's and I did torque them to 75lbs. I also did not know which to use but on the first motor I did with the ARP's is still alive with 75 lbs of torque(22,000 miles now) so I guess I did it right :)
