I know you guys usually say just ditch the stock stereo, but I really want to keep the stock appearance. Today I took the out the stereo and cd player (and broke the damn radio faceplate). I had problems with it sounding bad and having a weak right channel. I went through it, and didnt really find any problems. I cleaned it up and fixed 1 or 2 broken solder joints. Now the right channel is fine, and reception is better, but the CD player still does not work. You put a cd in, the radio switches to cd, and then it spits it out again. Can I service the cd player myself, or should I get a new one? Also, the subwoofer is not working. I tested the voltage to the amp and there was nothing, so maybe something somewhere is not getting voltage?
