Here is a bunch of photos for those who asked to see the new interior I had done for my 35th Anny car. I had them re-covered, new suede, new leather. These are not seat covers but are done from piece by piece. I think the guy who did it for me said their was 28 or 38 individual pieces in each seat. They look awsome and they smell great too:) My car smells like a tackery. Here are a bunch of pictures:) I removed the seats and brought it to him, and I installed when they were done. The guys name is Al and his business is called ASAP auto upholstery, and they are located in Leesburg, Florida. If you guys want his number, PM me and I'll give it to anyone who wants it. The work is quality, each stich is straight, the piping is right and it looks great too. He charged me $750 but said the suede was a little more expensive than he thought. :) He said he would do the interior for the club guys and gals for a bit more. I gave him an extra $150 for doing it right and the extra cost of the suede. $900 bucks, cant go wrong. The 35th is almost done, soon....soon. :)

That looks AWSOME Nick. I wish I could find someone around where I live to do the same quality work as what you had done to yours! Southwest VA is a little sparse when it comes to reputable, competent shops. There's an auto upholstery place about 2 miles down the road from me. Their name is CHAPMANS but the "H" on their sign out front was damaged around 2 years ago so now it reads "CrAPMANS". They have never bothered to fix it so that indirectly tells me that I don't want them even touching my 35th's seats! :) :) :)

Anyway, enjoy the new leather & pigskin smell and congratulations on your superb restoration project.

Man, those look awesome. NOt a bad price to pay considering they look great. I see you even have the matching black switch panel with the 'unbroken' tabs. Its so easy to just sit on those and break them. I put a 'newer' set of titanium seats on my 89 with a good pair of switch covers and man, am I really careful going into it now. Dont want to break them! Again, awesome car...stickshift too! I envy you! :D

That car looks amazing! Man I wish it was mine. I'm gonne get that guy to do my interior one day but not this year. If you see me in a tow truck driving up and down your street late at night just ignore me and go to sleep :D .

You'd better be wearing a vest my brother. :) This is the wrong SC to steal from my home. If someone was stupid enough to try, they can meet my close and personal friends: Smith and Wesson, Glock and Windchester.

I'll take care of em for sure.

But, I'll let you sit in it if you let me drive yours when it is done...LOL
:D

Damn those are some awesume seats. I would like the guys # so maybe next year after I get some things straightend out I can get my spare 35th seats redone. That way when I find another rust free 5spd 35th that I am not going to strip out I can put them in and restore it back to mint.

Shane

EDIT: If you ever sell your 35th I call first dibs :D :p

Looks great. I know it is alot of work to replace the covers and get it right. If you like this idea try to get a new shifter boot made. Black Leather with Blue Piping or Black Leather and Suede with Blue Piping. Have the boot Double Stitched on all seams.
