The shift knob on my car was all eaten up and loose, so I decided to try and find a new one. My friend had gotten a shifter for his 98 mustang, but he wrecked it and now had an extra shifter. It is the shifter from an interior upgrade package 05 mustang. When I first tried it, it wouldnt catch the threads on the shifter, so I looked at what I could do. There is a plastic piece on the bottom of the knob, and it cut it off. Before I did this I took off the faux chrome ring on the bottom. It catches fine now and screwed right on. Really looks nice in the car... Here is a stock pic for it. Ill get one of it in my car in a lil bit.
On another note, I pretty much dissassembled my entire interior today to try and fix the driver side automatic seat belt. No go though, I dunno what happened but something is seperated and the motor no longer moves the plastic greasy track (btw that grease is SO hard to get off of the leather). Its all back together, I just disconnected the motor and shorted the sensor for the seatbelt so It doesnt bing at me all the damn time.
