help i am having exhaust problems!!!

i have tryed everything to get my studs out of my headers beacuse the bolts broke while removing it and i cut the studs flush with the headers so i could drill it out and put bolts through it but it didnt work i even bought i drill bit ment for drillin through metal (it was $10.59 and the thing didnt even work) i tryed just throwing clamps on each side but that failed to. and i dont have money to take it to a shop SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!

Those studs take on a very hard temper from the heat which makes them brittle and prone to breaking. You need a good quality set of cobalt steel bits, and probably need a drill press not just a hand drill. Make sure you center punch in the exact center of the stud. Then drill out the stud in about three steps finishing just under the thread size. Then tap out the hole to the original threads. If you just try to drill a hole and use a "easy-out" I think you'll risk breaking the easy out in the hole and then you're really messed up. Gook luck, John
