changing my wheels

I am interested in buying 18" rims for my car but then I got to thinking that sometime in the near future I am going to want to get a big break setup for them as well. I have heard that the 89 SCs have a different bolt setup then most cars. So I wanted to know what i needed exactly to switch to the later model ones so that I can go ahead and just do rims and the big break setup all at once.

Also...on suggestion of the 18" rims...I was thinking 18x9....and I have my car lowered 1 1/2 inches. What size tire you think would look good? I am a moron when it comes to tire sizes so I am looking to get opinions from people based on what they have or have seen on other cars. Thanks for the imput guys.

The bolt pattern for wheels for all MN12's (stock) is 5 X 108 mm or 4.25". To put the big brakes on an 89 though you have to change to a 92 or later spindle. This assuming you want the Mustang Cobra brake PBR Calipers.
