Looks like a good solid base for a start. I cant wait to get my 4x4 up and running again. The only godsend for it not running is the cost of fuel. I anticipate like 10-13 mpg...I hope...

I used to take my ol' GMC mudding and off roading all the time, but ive moved and around here, there isnt any places to go, without traveling about an hour to get there, but when i am in the area, im sure to go out of my way to go play a little bit :p

The county mud hole and hill climbs is right next to my parrents house, People use to bring stuff from all over. I seen alot of trucks/cars go from road wearthy to trash in a few beers/hours (one I rember was a new dodge I think it had like 100 miles on it the kid bought it new that day and he broke the frame in half ). Over the years I have had 20+ "field beaters" 3-4 escorts, calavlers, topaz, chevy luv, subaru, f150, f250, toyata crolla, and the list goes on. Nothing better than takeing a old car and seeing how bad you can beat it. It is wild how much a car can take!! Best ever was the subaru it lasted half the summer (most cars last a few days tops) what killed it was we were comeing back from a beer run (under age car was completely trashed no lights raditor sticking out of the hood looks like it just got done with it's 10th demo durby) HeHe!! and some lady was stopped in the middle of the road around a blind curve picking flowers or something, and here we are going 40+ down a steep hill with no breaks! My buddy jammed it in first while in 4 wheel drive and dumped the clutch. slowed us down (about trough the window) but it also twisted the crank in half (we think)! Had a few 4x4 trucks that were still on the road so you have to baby them, nothing as fun as trashing a car tough!!!

Thats a big one. Looks pretty clean. You sure you want to scratch it all up?

I have a Suzuki Samurai that is pretty well built up. I still have alot to do to it, but it is getting there. Next work to it will be power steering out of a Toyota. I am also picking up a new motor for it. I am putting a VW diesel in it. Can't wait to get that going, should get more than 30 mpg. If I don't turbo it, they usualy get almost 40. With the gas prices the way they are, it may turn into my daily driver, that is if the cops will put up with it.

We've got a 78 CJ-7 with a Chevy 350 in it on bald 35's. Now that the DOHC 90 XR7 is finished, the CJ-7 will be in the shop soon for a new body tub, spring-over, a different Chevy SB, a set of 38's, etc. We already have almost all of the parts, just haven't had time to start working on it.

Once that's done, I need to get back to working on my 82 K-30. Plans for that include a BB Chevy and 38's.

Nice truck Alex. That thing is huge. I'd hate to be someone who pulls out in front of you and cuts you off. LOL.

99 Ram with 8" of lift, 35's, 4:56's, plus a Detroit locker and a bunch of other stuff.

I just got this... 2005 Suzuki KingQuad. It fits everywhere my truck doesn't. I tried to get it stuck a few weeks ago and couldn't. It is pretty amazing off road and way easier to clean than my Ram.
