As everyone likely knows by now that I bought Gary Kuhn's old SC. Here are some pics of the car that is going to be my foundation for my 460 big block project.

Honestly I cant really tell since currently the front end sits so high but from what I can tell I sit lower in the car. Even with the raised hood and big tach in my line of sight its not bad at all. Kinda feels like I am in a jet fighter with how snog the seats keep you inplace and with the cage right there next to you.

Just a tad off subject but what is Gary going to build now? I think you got a swell of a deal on that shell.

When I talked with Gary that saturday he said that he had no intentions to build another car anytime soon.

LOL! Hey I'll just hook it up to my expedition with a chain and race you. I bet I would still win against you and your spun rod and main bearing knocker machine anyday.

The seats are the same ride height as stock with sliders, we welded in l brackets to fit them when I did the roll bar. Shane, it will be easy to add a hinge on the roll bar if you want easier access in and out, I liked the Dukes of hazzard feel

Gary, no I like cage the way it is. Its kinda cool to have to get in and out of it like its a race car. I only asked about the seat tracks because I am trying to figure out how I can mount the Corbeau Forza racing seats in my 35th.

That car is begging for a 5x4.50" bolt pattern, some weld pro-star wheels w/ slicks in the back, and I'd pull the chrome SC decals off the side.
I love the hood it looks really nice. I want one but keep hearing all the problems people have with the fitment and don't want to have to shim the fenders to make the hood line up. Maybe I'll get one and then have a body shop do the fitment work and then shoot it.
Shane what are the serial numbers off the block and heads on your 460?

Scott,
The car has the 5x4.40" bolt pattern in the front only right now but still needs the rear hubs converted. Some weld wheels would be bad a$$ but I am thinking this car may see more autocrosses or road raicng then drag racing.
Rich told me the 460 that I baught is a '74 low compression motor. When I get out of work tonight I'll go out to the garage and grab the numbers off of it then post them for you.
Rich,
These are the heads I am probably going to save up for over the next few months. I think there the same ones that you have. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=120334&prmenbr=361
