i was driving to a friends house last night and as i am driving my brake light came on followed by a blinking abs light. now if i drive my car the brake light will stay on and the abs light will blink every now and then and will stay on when the e-brake is pulled. i have enough fluid and i changed the accumlator a few months back and the car stops fine. any ideas? thanks

I just had the EXACT same thing happen to me after changing my accumlator. It's the Pressure Warning Switch. You have to fix it or it will only get worse and you'll need a whole new system.

how do i fix it?

thanks for the reply and warning. were is the switch, how do i replace it and how much does the part cost?

thanks

It is located at the bottom part of your Brake Master Cylinder assembly. You need a special socket to replace it. I just took mine to the dealer to replace, cost for the part is around $170.00 US plus about an hours labour. I know... not cheap but a lot cheaper than the whole unit.
