Powdercoating the Spindles

Well i am about to install MARK 8 spindles on my SC and i was wondering is it possible for me to powder coat the spindles with the hub still in place? I mean i can cover the hubs with aluminum foil to prevent the heat from doing something to the permanent lube.... but i was wondering of should i take them off first? the reason i am trying to make my suspension look aluminum u know the whole front i am trying to do it... thanks...

If you think there is any chance on damaging the hubs, I would take them off. Aluminum isnt gonna do you any good what so ever, considering it conducts heat, I wouldnt think it would make a very good insulator in a baking oven.

take em off........... Thats what i would do anyway.
