Hey Dave

Are you coming down for sure? That would be great. I saw your post on the SCCoWC site, it sounded like you're ready to go!! We'll be running against each other in Street Stock.

I'll be staying over Sunday night, heading back with the St. Louis area gang on Monday morning.

cheers

I can't miss too much work . . . the robots ship just days after the shootout ends . . . I would need monday and Tuesday off of work and I don't know If I can swing that. But I am really going to try . . . I hope there will be rooms left. If I do go it will be a last second thing. If I find someone to drive with me I may be able to get back to denver Sunday night, then back to Canada monday in time to work Tuesday.

I am trying real hard to make it. I think with the kind of time I am running up hear I would have a good chance at winning street stock. :D

Yes, If I end up running against you in the eliminations, I'll likely have to cut a pretty good light to pull off a win. I'm hoping to get a 13.90 something out of my tub this year if I can. I'll be at the local track this Saturday to practice launching with the new clutch and tires, and also to practice reaction times ... last time I checked, a 1.1 RT wasn't very good.

I will be working in the CFDF clutch tonight and tomorrow in preparation for racing Friday and maybe Saturday as well . . . I think right now that mid 13's are possible with my beast. I am gunning for the Fastest Sc in Western Canada, and if I do run a 13.5, would that put me at the top for active cars in Canada?

As far as the shootout goes I would love to climb down from the 2500 foot altitude I race at and represent Canada.

I would say the odds of me attending with one other SCCOWC member riding Shotgun have moved up to about the 90% mark. I am getting excited . . . I just hope I am as competitive as I think I will be. Randy Baker looks liek he will have a damn quick car with all that MP stuff one there.

Dave Find ways to ditch some weight. ;)

I need to be 100 lbs lighter, that might help. I run with no spare tire, no jack, that kind of stuff . . . I should ditch the hood liner.

If it's 4100 lbs. at 2500 ft., what will it be at sea level, or whatever the elevation is in OKC? :p

The car would then way in at 4100.000001 lbs at sea level..... air is more dense at lower altitude so with the car having to hold that up.....

;)

ps. Well it SOUNDED good anyway!
