Registered Owner

I was just wondering does anyone know of a way I can find a registered owner of a car or motorcycle. My brother in law is trying to find his old GSXR 750 and I was just wondering if there is a way I can find the person its registered to? All help would be appreciated.

yep the DMV should help you as long as he still has a paper with the vin on it or the license plate if it is still the same... its gonna cost you though.... and the dmv will notify the person that you are attempting to access the cars information...
