i'm having some major issues here... I swapped in a new radio, like i've done with many cars before, and then tied off extra wires and what not trying to identify which ones i needed to connect for the dashlights and what not...Well here is what's happening...
My parking lights are acting off the dimmer switch -they go brighter or softer with the turn of the nob, Would be interesting if it was used to change the speed for strobe lights, but not for me.
my dash is on whenever the ignition is on - with no dimming fuction possible
If someone has teh circuit diagrams, they would be of help... i have a haynes manual, but of course they choose to leave out something like that. I should be able to figuire it out on my own if i have the charts... also, i was wondering if maybe my headlight switch just has a short?
