I would like to publically thank "Barrie Guy" (Trevor) for his kindness and generousity. Let me explain...

I just urchased a 90 SC and was looking for some small tid bits that I needed to make this car a perfect one. I saw his add in the forum and drove from Niagara Falls to Barrie to meet him. We went to the garage where he keeps his "parts bird" and I got all I needed. A r/s foglight, spare (actually better) door and trunk rubbers, r/s door lock accuator and a spare cd player, as mine is questionable at best. When all the parts were off the car I asked him how much and he said free! I even offered him 10 bucks to go for a coffee and he refused it as well. He said that he liked my bird and was glad to see the parts go to a good home.
I thank Trevor for his kindness and that is the spirit we need to restore these old birds back to original.
I'll be at the show in Brantford today and hope to meet others from the group.

I'll second that. He is great guy. Too bad he leaves so far from the rest of us and can't come to the meets. :o

Payton, if Tom can go from Niagara Falls to Barrie, Toronto to Barrie should be easy. ;) It's only a 45 minute drive, if you avoid rush hour.

cheers

I must agree with Ed, the drive isn't that far for me, I just have so much on the go right now that I can't make it out. I know this season is pretty much over but I plan to be at many of next years events. Thanks for the kind words, and to everyone else, please keep in mind that there are still some free parts available.

Trevor, has anyone scooped up the in-dash CD player yet?

Ed, I went to Barrie 2-3 weeks ago to pick up parts for myself and some other guys from the club ;)

Yes, sorry it's already gone. I do still has some other stuff left if you need anything else. The only parts I'm keeping are the 5-SPD parts. I just picked up a 1992 SC from Rino here on the site (Thanks very much to Rino, I love the car and plan to have many years of enjoyment from it. PS I love the alarm/remote start - Thanks again.), I plan to do the 5-SPD swap this winter so the console, pedals, trans, etc. are gone.

Hi guys...Went to the Brantford meet today and saw some real nice Mustangs, an original GT40(wow), and some nice Tbirds (2-59 retractables) and a 61 and 62 with the back seat cover.
Did not see a single SC there other than mine and missed it if anyone showed up. It was a small gathering but the quality was good! Some chevys too but I just walked past them...
