Changing head gaskets

I guess if you are asking the question you already have the answers....but if you dont. Scott Longs "Headgasket How To" is great for the shady tree mechanic (like myself). I couldnt have done it with out it. There isnt enough on here to cover what he took the time to do unless you have a forest of trees.

and so you dont have to do the infamous search, and I am already replying....why not tell you! The headstud part number through Summit is ARP-233-4003. They are $78.69 for the set and worth it.

That info only took me one tree.
 
mine has been ok for over 20k miles with old headbolts , i torqued mine to about 80 or 90 ft pounds , just make sure you torque them all 3 or 4 times cause after you torque one bolt another bolt always seems loose
