You can unplug the wire at the sender/sensor and instead connect an ohmmeter between the sender's terminal and ground. If the resistance stays constant when the rpms change, then, as 93SC said, you have a loose connection between the sender and the temp gauge or inside the instrument cluster, or possibly a bad gauge.89SCK@t said:is this the sign of a bubble in the cooling system?
