Supercharger Noises??

(i still have a couple of small vac leaks)

Anyway on startup, I hear this whistling noise build then get quiet, once in gear it returns while idling, when revving though it seems to disappear.

Its a wierd noise almost like creaking/whistling.

At shutdown you hear it whistling again only its like its "bleeding off" and I can see the bypass valve slowly move back to its resting position.

Is this normal? or is it something caused by my vacuum leaks?

I know the bypass moving is normal, but that **sound** seems out of place? Maybe i'm overreacting but i dont know.

The side that goes into the lower intake is under TONS of vacuum off idle, i can hear a small vac leak down in there somewhere, i'll have a look at it tomorrow :)
