What Can Cause This... Please Help If You Can...

Okay... i have replaced the timing belt and water pump on my girls 1999 NEW BEETLE... well anywho... now there is a tremendous loss of power... i really dont know what it could be... anyone have any clue?

Was the cam and crank lined up right? It could be slightly out of time if it's not and that would cause a loss of power. If it was running good before, that would be my guess.

i think i took the most precaution when i was removing the old timing belt i stongly made sure that none of the sprockets moved and i think i succeded in that.. anywho anyone else thanks again
 
With timing chains/belts they are either right or they are wrong. If you are not 1000% that it is right then it is wrong. Guaranteed.
