I have a 93 SC I may be parting out. It really was a very nice car. It ran mid 14's on street tires with a 3.27 gear and a five speed (No traction) just before it melted. (Guess I should have waited for a tune from Dave D.)   I just spent $1200 on a used Mag 2 from Dave Neibert and another $400 for ESM to coat the rotors and replace the rotor pack bearings. I have many thousands of dollars in this car and it kills me to do this but I can't afford to rebiuld the engine. So! Here's the deal! I need to get as much out of it as I can. It will either be by parting out all the bolt ons and go fast goodies then selling the rolling chasis or if someone wants to buy it as is and rebiuld the motor themselves. Here is a list of the parts.

Mag 2 Blower and Inlet w/coated rotors
75mm BBK throttle body
38lb injectors
75mm Pro M Chrome MAF
SCP Cold air kit 3"
Kooks Ceramic coated Mid length headers
SVO 1.73 Roller Rockers
Coy Miller Stage 1 cam and pushrods
10% OD blower pully
2.5-3.5-2.5 exhaust w/high flow cats and Dynomax turbo mufflers

Under the hood looks awesome. I painted everything myself. All is done with Imron polyurethane enamel over a very durable self etching epoxy primer. Just ask Tim how this stuff looks. I'll try to post an engine bay pic. I don't have any pics of the whole car yet but when I do I'll try to post those as well. The car has just been repainted midnight blue pearl. Looks extremely nice and shiny. Rockers were replaced with the paint job. The rockers were literally the only rust on the car. Guys were talking about 4-5k in paint and body work. Anyway let me know what you guys think I should do. If anyone is interested in a very nice chassis for around $1500 I'll part out the rest starting with the most obvious, The Mag 2 $1150 no less (the blower is Awsome and literally brand new). Thanks for reading. My Stupidity is literally your gain. Oh and by the way, I realize the engine bay pic is with the stock blower I haven't taken another with the Mag 2 on. But, you can see the painted Mag 2 plenum. The car looks exactly the same under the hood. I did the Mag blower just like I did the stock one. And, the pictures don't quite do it justice. The blue is cooler looking in real life. The picture was in my garage when it was dark under flourescent lights.

Actually guys, I have to apologize. I jumped the gun a little. I was sure something catastrophic happened inside the engine. It ended up that the charger seized up. I removed the belt an drove it home. Since I just got the rotors coated and rebuilt and the case was new from Mag. Powers, I am sure that someone is going to be warantying something. I am sorry for leading everyone on a wild goosechase. I am going to fix the charger and keep enjoying my SC.

Yeah, you're right. I was just really frustrated with the thought of having to pull the engine and overhaul it (AGAIN). I never really wanted to get rid of my baby. :o :o :o

even though I'm trying to sell my xr7, and no one wants to get it.......

i been looking for a xr7 4.6 to pass the time away, but i just drove one tonight and i was disappointed.

i had a 91 5.0 also and it wasn't anything special.

Nothing can compare to a SC.. so definitely keep it.

If you want a motor, I'm still selling my 90 XR7.. im outside Chicago.....not sure where you're at.
