Does the n/a 3.8 & the SC 3.8 have the same bellhousing bolt pattern?

This guy is selling a 3.8 T5 bellhousing. Claims it fits the SC engine. Was just wondering if it really would.

Was just wondering if it really would work. I think a G-Force T5 would be Great behind an SC. I especially like the idea of being able to choose my OD ratio.

Yes they do, Mark. Same pattern as 289 - 302 - 351 Ford V8 as well.

Thanx Ed.

Does that mean that the SC AOD will bolt up to most of the SBF's? If I remember correctly there are 5 & 6 bolt 289 bellhousing patterns.

I'm just filing this information away for possible future use.

Yes they would. The early 221, 260, and 289 (up to mid 1965 I think it was) had the 5-bolt bellhousing pattern. All of the other ones had the 6-bolt pattern.
