Im not sure if this question has been asked before, but can you take a SC supercharger and attach it to a mustang with the 3.8? And if so what all would it take to do it?

The answer is yes.
But the year of the mustang is the determinig factor.
You can find a wealth of SC info here.
You can also find alot V6 info, including M90 swaps on mustangs at the following site:

Search is your friend at these sites. :)

What year is your stang? It is easiest to do this swap to 94-95 stangs because of the timing cover and a few other small things. If you want to keep the a/c then you run into some fun stuff, and if you have an auto you might also run into some more fun stuff if you use the SC radiator.

Here is the link on v6p about the swap:

I dont have a stang at the moment, I have been wanting one for awhile and was thinking that would be a cool project. So the easiest would be a 94-95 stang with a 5sp and without a/c?

I honestly think that you'd be better off dropping a sc motor in the stang rather than using the mustang v6. There are a lot of internal difference between a 3.8 v6 and a supercoupe engine. I dont know how well a n/a 3.8 would hold up to boost. I know of a few who have done it this way, but none that just popped a blower and intake on. It doesnt mean that there arent any out there, just none that I personally know of. Good luck

Rick

I would say it is very possible............. :)

i just saw a fox mustang with an SC motor.. and 85' i believe, for some reason that engine and sound just matched the smaller car better :)

you could get a fox mustang for dirt cheap too.
