Who can port the manifolds? How much will it cost to port them? Can i buy some that are ported and give them a core charge?

Simply put.. Dont waste your money... The time and aggravation of removing them and having them ported is not worth the miniscule power gain you will see by porting them.. Unless you are very handy and want to do it yourself then by all means go for it.. I would invest in the headers instead..

Just my opinion...I feel the factory manifolds are very dependable when it comes to not having leaks etc. and are a design that's hard to beat. I mean, just look at 'em! They're also very sturdy and look a lot better than the late-model tubular.
Don't get me wrong, I like the heck out've the Kooks shorties but just ain't ready to spend the cash yet. I want a R-hood from American Sportscar and a paint job...

and a M112...

and 3.73 gears...

and 16x8 Weldwheels...

and some shorties...

Anyways...there are several SC'ers on the boards that port manifolds, I'm one of them. Here's a pic of the business end. They're not just transitioned or hogged out at the flange but are ported a full 2" up into the collector. I also replace the studs. You can view more info on my webpage that is in my sig below the pic.

Please be sure to note that I am increasing the price to 125 on August 1st but I feel they will still be an excellent value even at that price.

take care,

'bird
