i blew a head gasket on my 90 sc and put in fel pro's. car ran fine for several days then started to make a ticking noise which stopped when i turned the car off then on again. the next day the car immediately made a strange ticking whistling noise which doesnt stop and is running rough. no water loss, no oil loss, or mixing of the two, doesnt get hot or give a check engine light. i was thinking timing chain but am unsure and not wanting to go that far into it unless totally necessary, especially after the head gasket experience being so fresh in my mind. any ideas would be greatly appreciated. this car is starting to take up permanent residence on the back of my towtruck. thanx
