Hi,

The car looks and runs awesome (1 owner). It's leaking a little oil, the owner thinks it's the rear main seal. Is that a known issue with these cars? What else should I look at?

Thanks,
Darien

The oil leak could be coming from the valve cover....

Head gaskets seem to be an issue, as well....

Is there any noise/rattling coming from the blower at idle?

Shocks, ball joints, and bushings will need to be looked at....

Look for rust along the door frame and under the ground effects....

If the seller will let you, have the codes pulled for the engine and the ABS as well....

Thanks big-e!! Any big ticket items to expect around that mileage?

Shocks, ball joints, and bushings will probably need replacing soon.....

All of these can be replaced at the same time to save money on labor.....

You know the drill.......

While you have this apart, it is only a few more bolts and that can be replaced....

I wound up doing all of it at once......

It cost a bit, but in the long run it paid off..... :D
