tachometer problem

my tachometer only works part of the time(mostly when it's cold)
I changed my spark plugs and it worked fine for a whole week, obviously it's a bad wire, or connection, where can I find this wire and what color is it???
 
You could try replacing your cam sensor. That is what the tach gets its signal from. Good luck!
