Hey all,
New to the club since we just bought our SC. Outstanding car! 85,000 miles, All the trimmings, of course the supercharged 6.
I'm an ASE certified auto-tech in all but transmissions and brakes and suspension. Of course that would be the only problem with the car. I bought it for $700 because the owner thought that he blew the trans. Well, although that is possible(haven't been under it yet), I would almost think that it twisted off the output shaft. The speedo raises as it should, but the car has absolutely no gear what so ever. No biggie to get a trans, just curious if anyone else has done this, or stripped the spline(not likely), or any thing else in the general idea.
I also have an Alldata membership so if you need any diagrams instructions, just about anything about your SC, just let me know.:D

Welcome Ray,
Good luck with the SC, Trannies are nothing too difficult, don't here of many breaking an output shaft except on high HP Cars. Seems like you have a good knowledge base to work on these things with so you shouldn't have any problems.

Nice Alldata membership too.

Ray and all,

I am a newbie to the SC 35TH club as well. Only thing is, you can't find the important parts for these cars anymore.
Most of them have been discontinued.
I'm currently in the market for electrical parts for mine, and IF on the off chance you find them; if they are not used or aftermarket, you will pay a serious premium (4 times as much) for them.
I totally love this car, but Ford is completely screwing all of us.

Parts.... Get em' while you can...
