Just thought I would pass this on. My mechanic called today and said I need a new cam sensor. Will pick it up tomorrow Ill let you know how it runs. Every time I would drive it after ten or so minutes it would start missing bad for short time and then would go away and run fine. Very annoying. Going to cost 300 or so hope this helps out some one else.

yeah cam sensor is a 5 minute job... super easy...if thats all they are fixing, i hope you got a nice tube of lube with that :D

Cam Sensor

Wayne,
I had the same exact same problem!!! It was the cam sensor!!! It takes 10 minutes to replace and I'm no mechanic. Beleive me, it's simple.

Just in case it's not the sensor, I had a fuel filter that was so clogged that the car would buck so bad that the tires barked every thin it surged. The Only thing I have seen with a bad cam sensor was hard to start, and a stumble it idle.
