Looking at an SC

I'll be checking a 1989 SC out this Friday. I was wondering if there is anything I should be looking for on these cars besides the common head gasket issue. I'm sure that I could search for this answer but I wanted to take the opportunity to say hi as well. I actually own a 94 LX and I'm looking for a little upgrade. Both cars in my sig have done me proud. Thanks for any replies.

Make sure you check the ABS brake system. Mainly check to see that the ABS light and Brake light both come on with the key on. After the car is running, both light should go out (the brake light will stay on when the e-brake is on).

Make sure that everything electrical works.....

All switches and lights need to be tested.....

upper control arm bushings, irs bushings (will make clunking sound when shifting - 5 speed), rear shock bushings, motor mounts, sunroof gasket (if applicable)

Yeah, the sunroof is one thing I'm glad I don't have to worry about (there isn't one). I will be checking underneath the car for sure.
