How can you tell if an SC is really a 35th? I ran across an SC that had obviously been repainted blue and the rims were blue also. It had the anny badges on the side.

Look at the VIN tag in the engine compartment....The one that is attached to the radiator support. On there, it will say 35th in stamped letters along with a vin # and other important info. It is attached near the right side headlight on the rad support, bolted to it.

Good luck...

I was never a fan of the Black/Argent paint scheme on the 35th's. I'd like to see somebody do a Red/Argent 35th with Red wheels. I think THAT would be sharp!!!!!!!!!!!

Make sure that tag VIN matches the Dash VIN!!!!

I think the 35th's look good, but even better when repainted with a brighter silver (stock was a tan/silver). Then put some black chrome wheels on it with a polished lip for that deep dish look (maybe some black bullitt wheels), and I think it'd look killer. I would pull off the blue pinstripe but thats just my preference.

I just moved to New Port Richey from spring hill and the kid who used to own that car works at the advance auto parts store on 19 and spring hill drive. he did all kinds of stuff to that car, i think he said hig girlfriend blew the engine so he sold it. blue with painted blue sc wheels and it was all custom painted , not sure if it was a 35th but u could ask him, I forgot his name tho. the guy also said he got a book kinda like chiltons and haynes directly from ford specifically for the 89-95 thunderbird supercoupes for 600 dollas, I don't believe him but if they do make that book i want one but for 20 bucks, lol.

Back in 1989 I pd. $125 for the '89 T-bird / Cougar Shop manual (covers LS, XR-7, LX, & Supercoupe), EVTM, Complete Wireing Diagram, and DIY guide. Bought all of'em straight from Helms. Those were the first upgrade I bought for my XR-7.

I'd like to see this $600 manual that he bought. I've never heard of any SC ONLY, all years manual. See if you can get a look at this "Holy Grail" of SC literature!!!!!!!!

That car is NOT!!! a 35th. I used to live in Spring Hill Florida and I knew the kid who ownes/owned it. Not really sure he still has it, but his name is Kevin. I put a water pump on it for him. I raced it with my titanium 89 and smoked his assets. I had all the goodies though :D :) . I used to live off Mariner Blvd By the Mobil and Food Lion on Tilburg St. Where in Spring Hill do you live caause my brother lives in Brooksville. If you need any work done< you can bring it to him. Hit me up on this post or PM if interested.
