AOD squealing noises

What causes this? It's a little embarassing when first pulling out slowly from a stop light, and my AOD makes this weird whistling sound. How can I stop the noise?

The tranny shouldn't make any noises at all. Does it sound like a bad bearing that's starting to whine? Or more like a whistle from a vacuum leak? Or maybe like a squeeling drive belt? At any rate, if it is the AOD making the noise, that can't be a good thing...

i'm not sure it's the AOD. But it sounds like it's coming from the AOD because it makes a squealing sound just after you pullout slowly from a stop in 1st gear, as if there was some vacuum leak in a diaphram or some valve in the transmission vibrating. i'm pretty sure i don't have any major vacuum leaks, but i'll check again.

Has anyone else here had those noises coming from the AOD?
